Overdubbing?

This bit was added to Wings over America by User:68.184.219.208; I couldn't find any cite for it, so I'm documenting it here: Wasted Time R 11:00, 24 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unlike the live album, the music contained in the film was subjected to a copious amount of overdubbing. These sessions were recorded at Twickenham Studios in London. The film soundtrack was subjected to further overdubbing of crowd noises made by 60 members of Wings Fun Club, randomly selected to be summoned to Abbey Road studios for this purpose. The overdub sessions for the film perhaps led to to the false rumors of massive overdubbing for the Wings Over America album.
