OK, let's do this!

Infobox *remove "series" from the series row so it just says "SaGa"

  • No emulated releases in infobox, remove PSN as a platform and release date.

Gameplay

  • Last sentence is unsourced.
  • Optional: The linking of "game world" to the Open World page may be better linked on the phrase "free to travel"

Plot

  • In general, this section is written too much in-universe and is really hard to follow for someone who is unfamilar with the game or series. I recommend re-writing this section to be honest. Some notes below...
  • Is the character's AKA pseudonym important or is this a trivial detail that can be removed? Consider typing out "also known as" if it should be kept. (
    MOS:ACRO
    )
  • roughly in the years 1200-1300. - Seeing as the world is fictional, the year really isn't important. If this is to place the game in relation to other game's plots in the series, it should be made clear like: "Takes place in the year xxxx, roughly 40 years after the events of SaGa Frontier", or something like that. When I read this I thought of 1200-1300 AD which is just confusing.
  • manifestation of his Anima - What's an Anima?
  • "slums of Thermes"..."leave for Nohl"..etc. - Are these cities, towns, countries, empires? Lots of locations listed in this section without any mention on what they are.
  • Master Cielmer - Who?
  • Gustave will set neither foot nor sights on Thermes, Finney, or Merchmin for another 20 years. - Why?
  • conquering Wide - He just started conquering stuff? reason?
  • Lots of details on the first story, but like one sentence on the second. Seems unbalanced.

Development

  • Series creator Akitoshi Kawazu served as project director, with the game's promotional character art drawn by Tomomi Kobayashi, who had previously contributed artwork for SaGa Frontier and the Romancing SaGa games. - Unsourced
  • Re-title Audio section to "Music" or "Soundtrack"

Reception

  • Famitsu score can be removed from body, it's in the table.
  • I would mention the PSN re-release here with the others.
  • unique presentation is SaGa Frontier 2's greatest strength - Italicize the game title
  • GameRankings score should be moved up to beginning of paragraph where you say it got generally positive reviews.
  • Too many scores in the table. Some points: 1) Individual scores can't be sourced back to GameRankings, they need to be sourced to the original review. Otherwise remove them. 2) Some here look unreliable 3) Others aren't mentioned in the body and/or add little value. This table can be trimmed down significantly.
  • If table goes past reception body, use Template:Clear at the bottom of the section so the scores don't run into References

Overall pretty good. The gameplay and development sections are great. The most glaring problems for me are the reception table being way too long, and the plot being hard to follow especially for someone who has never played the game before. Let me know once it's ready for another look over. TarkusAB 19:33, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • EDIT: Forgot this step, check dead links, try and get archived versions
Will do. I'm in Disney Springs at the moment, so it might be a few days before I fix everything (:3 Judgesurreal777 (talk) 01:18, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Ok @TarkusAB:, took a bit longer than I thought it would, but those are the fixes! I couldn't find anything about any PSN re-release from a reliable source, and I expanded the plot by rewriting it and adding the other half of it to the article. It should be set now, let me know if there is anything else! Judgesurreal777 (talk) 04:30, 27 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
