  • Additional info about Joplin's musical family and his performances in groups as a youth
  • Composition style / technique' - a very important (and missing) section - there is almost no music theory on this page. Probably highlighting the Maple Leaf Rag's influence on Ragtime's form and on Joplin's compositions later. Also we should mention Joplin's attempts to go beyond Ragtime's form in things like the Magnetic Rag and the Ragtime Dance.
  •  Done * Clarification of Joplin's role in the development of ragtime at the Chicago world's fair - How much did he contribute a scene which was already in existence, if in fact it was?
  • Other biographical details Joplin's later life is rather light on detail, especially the New York section
  •  Done * Piano Rolls Currently that area has gone about as far as it can without straying into
    Original Research
. I think now we can help the reader further using info from Berlin's biography.
  •  Done * Tidy up the {{rp|x}} tag in references I think it is used too much and should be removed (as per Template:Rp/doc).
  • Influence on Joplin and by Joplin on others as per Peer Review - some of this is here, but perhaps it can be expanded and given a separate section?
  • Race Was Joplin's experience typical of African-Americans in the era and has he been seen as a pioneer in the campaign for civil rights?
  • Further awards section This should be turned into continuous prose. Possibly folded into the recognition section.
  • Check naming conventions as per
    MOS:MUSIC
Titles of pieces should be italicised, etc.
  • Prepare for application to GA-status - Anything else we should do?
