This article doesn't yet mention what I think of as stack unwinding: following stack and frame pointers so as to find the stack frame for a particular function, starting from some called function (possibly nested many levels deep).

I don't know enough to write this part of the article, and it may or may not be distinct enough from "function stack" to warrant preventing the suggested merge. --Mike Van Emmerik 22:01, 1 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Merge

I'm in favor of a merge, moving everything to
