A fact from The Sun Sessions appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 20 July 2004. The text of the entry was as follows:

Authenticity check: A search reveals that the phrase "regarded by many" appears in the text. Is the phrase a symptom of a dubious statement? Could a source be quoted instead? Perhaps the "many" could be identified? Might text be edited to more genuinely reflect specific facts?
I Got a Woman tape lost?
The article states that the tape for "I Got a Woman" is lost. The number is on the track list of the album Elvis Presley (album), which has other songs from the Sun-recordings. So, is the track on that album "I Got a Woman" been re-recorded, or is it the Sun-recording, not lost? -DePiep 19:14, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- It was re-recorded at RCA, per the Fantailfan 19:27, 9 October 2006 (UTC)]

Suggested merger
I have recently suggested to merge Elvis at Sun to The Sun Sessions because both albums originated from the same idea, to have Elvis' Sun recordings in one place, and because it does not make sense to have two articles about very similar albums when one article would be more likely to achieve good article status. Is there any reason that the pages should not be merged or is there something better to do with the articles than merging them?Rock'N'More (talk) 18:03, 22 July 2011 (UTC)
CD
No mention is made in the article of the 1987 Sun Sessions CD, which has a slightly different track listing and includes many outtakes and alternate takes, including "Harbor Lights", "Tomorrow Night", and "When It Rains It Really Pours".
