Up the Creek Music Festival

User:Hayman30 Why don't you create the article, instead of being a dick about it? I've supplied all the references to the event. Or is this some anti-Africa bias of yours? rrcatto (talk) 06:25, 7 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Articles for Creation is the way to go. You don't revert a random user on Wikipedia, pretend that you made a lot of effort by adding a bunch of references, and say to the guy: "I've already found all the references for an article that I want to make, so MAKE ME AN ARTICLE RIGHT NOW!!!". The fact that you would even accuse me of being racist, and your not giving up after being told you're wrong, shows how pathetic you are. I have nothing else to say except that you shouldn't be on Wikipedia. Hayman30 (talk) 08:44, 7 September 2018 (UTC)[reply

@Hayman30: If I created an article, I'm sure you would be there to delete it. You decided to go through my list of edits to see what you could revert. That is undeniable. You made this personal. You also decided to laugh in my face with "Lmao did you even read my edit summary?". This is some playground game to you, a game of one-upmanship. It is you who has no place here. I've never had a problem with an editor until running foul of you. On Talk:Born_to_Be_Yours you went on the offensive right away, making all kinds of accusations instead of patiently explaining the situation. The other user there User:Aoi was not a dick to me and I respect his input. rrcatto (talk) 12:34, 8 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

personally attacked me by calling me a dick. I laughed in your face because you were being ignorant and you don't wanna listen. I never got offensive on Born to Be Yours, I politely pointed out the flaws in your argument and went on to explain Wikipedia policies. You were the who's been offensive all the way, dropping smartass comments here and there and telling me to educate myself from the very beginning. Not everything has to be your way. Revert

Hi Leschnei, could you please clarify why you reverted my edit? You mentioned there being a proper format for titles on this disambiguation page—where is it specified, and why is the traditional markup for titles not used? Also, it is my understanding that red links are allowed on disambiguation pages. Thank you. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 15:06, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WP:INTDAB
; the basic idea is to distinguish intentional links from links that are made in error and need to be fixed.
Red links are allowed on DAB pages if the red link is used in an existing article. The existing article should be included in the entry to support the inclusion of the red link on the DAB page (
MOS:DABRED). I found a couple of trivial mentions of the festival, but nothing very notable. I see from the 'discussion' above that the festival has been a contentious issue for some time. Leschnei (talk) 15:20, 1 February 2022 (UTC)[reply
