Lol. I've posed the same question. I'm not exactly knowledgeable about this program or WWE in general but I do understand television programming. If a show hasn't been cancelled or renewed, and it isn't close-ended like a miniseries, than it has not ended once a season is complete. Someone cited an article describing the show as 12 episode series. However, that article did not call the show a limited series or something of the like. The line that they were referring to could read as simply stating that the first season of the show will have 12 episodes. Well idk, we just have wait until the near ...next year Mixed Match Challenge if they going do a 2nd Series, because Vince McMahon might be not happy about the viewership of the WWE Mixed Match Challenge Series as i reviewed the WO source.

The exclusion of the prefix mini as the sole reason to not put an end date is pretty silly. Sure, companies can change their mind, they brought back Prison Break 10 years later, and Rosanne even more than that. I don't know how you'd know what the WWE meant in that statement with absolute certainty unless you drafted it for them. It is not merely the exclusion of the prefix "mini" here. Plenty of press releases for new shows have described the upcoming program as a "10 episode series" or a "13 episode series". That is what the issue was there. An inference is being made by claiming that the series is done for good. Perhaps I am wrong, but I do not recall ever seeing season 1 of any show as a "10 episode series". I have seen it say they've been picked up for 10 episodes, or something like that. I chose 2 shows randomly that I knew would be well cited and looked at the ref in the opening for the show being picked up. When you look at the source in the opening of

I have created a number of television series articles with development sections that include cited articles that report series orders in the manner I stated above. I looked at the links you provided. I couldn't find anything on Homeland's season 1 that resembled a link to an article announcing the show being greenlit. I found the one you were referencing on the This Is Us page and that was actually not an article announcing the series but rather one reporting that NBC had given the show an order for an additional 5 episodes after the first season had begun airing.

Honestly, I have no intention of reverting anything on the page at this point. Not a priority of mine and I'm more focused on other things here on Wikipedia. Hey, I see we've had a few back and forth edits on this. I know the article on .com says everyone will face everyone, and I assumed I was wrong too when that was pointed out.

However, we have two separate standings tables, all matches thus far have been Raw vs Raw and SmackDown vs Smackdown, and at the current rate of 2 matches per show, every team facing every team would take 45 matches, or 22 and a half weeks.
