- ... that Marty Friedman left Megadeth to join bodacious space pirates?
- Comment: I'm a new nominator (0 DYK credits at the moment), I haven't reviewed any articles yet.

- Article itself is fine in terms of length, newness, and neutrality. I can read Japanese, so can verify the sources. Image has proper fair use rationale. The main problem is with the hook. It is certainly interesting, and the sources confirm the basic fact that Friedman participated in the recording, but the hook is deceptive. Friedman did not leave Megadeth in order to participate in this single--which itself is not the anime Bodacious Space Pirates, but only its theme song. I would suggest a more honest, but still hooky alternative like:
- ALT1:... that after Marty Friedman left Megadeth he got mixed up with bodacious space pirates?

- How about this alternative:
- ALT2:... that Marty Friedman left Megadeth only to get mixed up with bodacious space pirates?

- How about this alternative:
- Thanks, I understand your point--that is why I did think of "only to" as well. In the end, I think it's fine to err a bit on the side of hookiness, in the spirit of DYK. So this is OK to go using ALT2. Michitaro (talk) 21:39, 16 December 2012 (UTC)
