Usage
Normally, this template is used to prevent the so-called "list sprawl" (the list version of
{{Pruned
|afd = AfD page name: Example (2nd nomination). Do not include "Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/". (Alternatively, set afd=noafd)
|oldid = if you want to provide a link to the version before the pruning
|list = treats all answers other than "no" as a list
|date = standard Month-name YYYY format
|talksection = to specify a particular talk section to discuss pruning

Optional parameters (non-lists, oldid, or no afd)
If the pruning did not happen during a WP:Articles for deletion discussion, then set afd=noafd and it will instead refer to the appropriate style guideline. For example, {{Pruned editnotice|oldid=385922282|date=July 1234|afd=noafd}} makes: (note: "oldid" parameter also demonstrated)

Former clean-up template
This template used to be a clean-up template before it was converted to an editnotice as discussed at Wikipedia:Templates_for_discussion/Log/2010_October_18. Articles were placed at Category:All articles that have been pruned.
