Usage

) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters to use, it has a number of required ones for assessment and maps as well as optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax of the template and the most commonly used parameters are as follows:

Unless the article is about a subject that encompasses multiple provinces, always specify the province with province=. Use the two letter abbreviation. To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.

The template is broken up display-wise into two sections: the main section that is shown all of the time and an article issues section that has hide/show enabled and hides if three or more issues are listed. If the latter group has no members, then that group is omitted entirely. All of the template's parameters are described below:
