Specific Songs and Kliph Scurlock

I was wondering why those specific songs were chosen for inclusion in the template? They're all pretty recent but the selection seems pretty arbitrary. Also, I'm fairly certain Kliph Scurlock isn't considered to be a full band member (e.g. he doesn't play on their albums).--Lairor 08:19, 17 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Excellent points, we'll be looking into that. --Rajah 02:53, 5 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've added all songs which currently have articles to the band's template. Moreover, Kliph Scurlock does play on their albums. See his article for the reference. --Rajah 00:26, 20 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
His article only says that he is credited on their Fight Test EP, which includes live tracks, reinforcing my point that he doesn't play on their albums. He isn't credited at all on Yoshimi and although I don't have it with me I believe he gets a "special thanks" credit on At War With the Mystics.--Lairor 23:32, 1 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
If one were to go to the Flaming Lips' official website, click on the "Band" tab and then on the "People" tab, one could see that Scurlock is listed, apart from the 3 core band members on the "supporting cast" page.--Lairor 16:55, 3 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DunnySun 16:31, 18 August 2007 (UTC) I was wondering if you can change the "Instrument(s) Vocals, Guitar" to Instrument(s) Vocals, Guitar, Bass" Because he is seen playing bass in this picture. http://s66.photobucket.com/albums/h267/daniel_san34/?action=view&current=FlamingLips-1.jpg[reply]

removed Wikiproject link on template

I don't think that belongs on there. The template is about the band, not about this project. --Rajah 05:11, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New format

I just wanted everyone to know that this new format is described as the standard format for band templates. The former style was unelegant and easily-broken. As you can tell, I have a few band templates under my belt so I wouldn't worry too much about my having messed up this new format (it's happened before, but I quickly made the necessary changes). → ɧʒЖχ (ГДĽККОИГЯІВ) 20:38, 7 February 2008 (UTC)

New releases

There are a number of releases from 2011 that aren't listed in this template: "Two Blobs Fucking," StroboTrip, etc. (there's a list here which I believe is complete). I'm not sure what the guidelines are around what to include in Templates, so I thought I'd mention it here rather than adding them all myself. Jd4v15 (talk) 03:52, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

"Dooo It!" worth including?

Is "Dooo It!" worth including as an entry? The song is produced by The Flaming Lips. ---Another Believer (Talk) 19:06, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
