chart. The following year, the song was released in the United Kingdom and became the band's highest-charting single there when it peaked at No. 26.

Reception

The song became the band's first No. 1 single on the

Billboard magazine Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart in August 1998. In doing so, it became the first chart-topping song on Sony's newly resurrected Monument Records label since February 1978, when Larry Gatlin & The Gatlin Brothers Band reached the top with "I Just Wish You Were Someone I Love."[1] In 1999, the Dixie Chicks were awarded a Grammy Award for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for their performance of "There's Your Trouble".[2]
