Thinasonke Mbuli is South African professional

UWC Ladies and the assistant coach of the South Africa women's national soccer team.[1]

Coaching career

In September 2017, Mbuli was appointed assistant coach of the South Africa women's national soccer team.[2] She was part of the technical team when they won their maiden continental title the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations and were runner's up at the 2018 Women's Africa Cup of Nations.[3] She was also part of the technical team when they won their first FIFA Women's World Cup match and qualified for their first ever knockout round in 2023.[4]

In 2019, she was appointed head coach of

UWC Ladies.[5]

In 2023, she was named the Hollywoodbets Super League Coach of the Season after her team finished second in the league.[6]
