• Frost is an unincorporated community in the township on Frost Road, between Graham and Lone Roads.[4]^[6] A post office operated from April 13, 1880, until December 15, 1887, and again from January 24, 1888, until September 30, 1907.^[7]
• Shields is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in the township.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 31.9 square miles (83 km²), of which 31.5 square miles (82 km²) is land and 0.4 square miles (1.0 km²) (1.32%) is water.
