Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 25.26 square miles (65.42 km2), all land.[1] The town is drained by Halfmoon Stream. The town is crossed by state routes SR 220 and SR 139.

The average household size was 2.70 and the average family size was 3.16.

The median age in the town was 38 years. 27.2% of residents were under the age of 18; 8.4% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 26% were from 25 to 44; 25.9% were from 45 to 64; and 12.6% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the town was 51.6% male and 48.4% female.
