Biography

Tim Gatz started working for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation in 1990.[1] In 2016, Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin appointed Gatz as the executive director of the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority.[2] In 2019, Governor Kevin Stitt appointed him Oklahoma Secretary of Transportation and he was promoted to the executive director of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.[3]

Gatz resigned as the executive director of the

Mary Boren. He was reappointed the executive director of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation after his resignation.[3] Governor Kevin Stitt called the attorney general's opinion "political games."[5]
