In 2018, Bangalore Traffic Police installed a
traffic signal at the junction in order to ensure free vehicular movement.[1] In 2019, Government of Karnataka announced that a flyover would be constructed at the junction which would connect the Outer Ring Road cable bridge with Benniganahalli Flyover.[3][4] In November 2019, a 17-kilometer BMTC priority bus lane was inaugurated between Tin Factory junction and Silk Board junction.[5]
