Tintinhull is a village and

A303. It is on the Fosse Way
.

In addition to a school of around 100 pupils, Tintinhull has a church, park, swimming pool and other amenities.

History

The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086.[2] The surrounding landscape shows evidence of 2000 years of farming.

The parish was headquarters and part of the

Hundred.[3]

Governance

The

neighbourhood watch
groups on matters of crime, security, and traffic. The council's role also includes initiating projects for the maintenance and repair of parish facilities, as well as consulting with the district council on the maintenance, repair, and improvement of highways, drainage, footpaths, public transport, and street cleaning. Conservation matters (including trees and listed buildings) and environmental issues are also the responsibility of the council.
