Thomas Gregory (born 1976) swam the English Channel in 1988 at the age of 11 years and 330 days. As of 2023 he still holds the record as the youngest person to have done so.[1]

ISBN 9780241354124) was joint winner of the 2018 William Hill Sports Book of the Year.[2] It was BBC Radio 4's Book of the Week in August 2018.[3] He served in the Royal Anglian Regiment of the British Army.[4][5]
