Anthony John Abbott, CMG, OBE (born 9 September 1941) is an English diplomat, who served as Governor of Montserrat
Abbott was born in
Bosnia-Herzegovina.[1]
After returning to the UK again, he was Deputy Head of Training Department in the FCO, then spent four years as consul-general in
Perth, Western Australia. In 1997, he was sworn in as Governor of Montserrat, as which he served until 2001.[1]
From June 2001 was Head of Pitcairn Islands Logistic Team based in Auckland, New Zealand until May 2004.
