V. Narayanasamy (born May 30, 1947), is an
Member of Parliament in 15th Lok Sabha, lower house of Parliament of India. He is member of Indian National Congress (INC), he is currently Minister of State Parliamentary Affairs, Personel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Prime Minister Office, Government of India [1]

Indian general election, 2009 and represents the Puducherry (Puducherry) constituency in 15th Lok Sabha

Early life and education
He was born on 30 May, 1947 in Puducherry (Puducherry) to Shri Velu and Smt. Iswary
His educational qualifications include degrees of
Puducherry University and Annamalai University. By profession he is an advocate
.
Career
He started his political career in Puducherry. He was elected to Rajya Sabha upper house of Parliament of India three times from 1985-1991, 1991-97, 2003-09. He was Minister of State Planning and Parliamentary Affiars in UPA-I.[2]
Personal life
On 19 Jun, 1977, he married Smt. Kalai Selvi and the couple have two children, a son and a daughter.
