My name is Adolphus. I am from

My Backstory

My Father is Nigerian and my mother is from Cameroun. I have an affinity for knowledge. I began reading encyclopedias voraciously as a child in secondary school. I would spend hours on end, after class in the school library, in the early 1990s, going through the encyclopedia Britannica and the various other encyclopedias on display. I would learn about the lands and peoples of the world and I would escape in my mind to these places and experience what they experienced.

This is the mission I have when I create articles here on Wikipedia. To be able to paint a picture of the subjects that would draw the readers in and give them a sense of the time and place where these persons or events occurred or exist.

As a Nigerian, I love to see that Nigerian personalities, organizations and events that are encyclopedia worthy are represented effectively and from a neutral point of view, because there is no better way. As a Cameroonian, the sentiment is the same. My interests go beyond Nigeria and Africa. My affinity for knowledge would see me make contributions to articles in politics, sports, entertainment and culture, from around the world.

I have written a few articles so far and contributed to commons, when I can. I love pictures and dabble in photography occasionally, mostly with my phone.
