History
The previous phone from the Nseries was the N97 with touchscreen which was criticized for its earlier firmware issues. Anssi Vanjoki, Nokia's Executive Vice President for Markets, said in an interview that software quality control will be better than for the N97.[1]
The N8 will be the first device by Nokia with the
Symbian^3 operating system. Symbian^3 was scheduled for the second quarter of 2010 but was pushed back to the third quarter.[2]
The previous Nokia 5800 has been criticized as inconsistent.[3]
One of the previous Nokia phones with a focus on the camera qualities is the the
Megapixel sensor and was available since June 2009.[4]
