Option 1

Article title: Juvenile Delinquency
Article Evaluation:
  • This article is a strong article with lots of information and sources that present an objective point of view and cover the topic of Juvenile Delinquency quite comprehensively. However, there is not a lot of information about legislation or writing currently in place that are controlling this "politicized" topic. A lot of the data is also not recent or immediate. The article is also lacking media or images that could better help illustrate its points. Its talk page shows that there is still a lot of room for improvement but that this article is an overlap of many important areas of interest.

Option 2

Article title: Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015
Article Evaluation:
  • This article is more educational than the previous one; its language is a little more confusing and hard to read through, and there are some grammatical errors that should be taken care of to increase the legitimacy of the article as a source for learning about this piece of legislation. That being said, the content itself is very thorough and covers essentially every relevant category to the bill that was passed. It could use a little more organization, such as less information in the Lead and better lay out so that it is easier to follow. There is no incorporation of media; however, there is not a very strong need for media in this particular situation. The article's talk page is not very active and is rated as low-importance on the importance scale.

Option 3

Article title: Second Chance Act (2007)
Article Evaluation:
  • This article is very well organized with many sources that are relevant and timely in relation to the topic. While the Lead does not introduce the other sections, the "purpose" segment does that very well. There is not too much information but there is enough to gain sufficient knowledge about the subject. There are no images or media; however, the need for these is debatable. The talk page is not active at all and does not show any comments or suggestions about the material, which suggests that this article is either not very popular or not enough people are educated on the material to have any input. Alternatively, the article could also just be good as is. Upon research, I also found, however, that this act has been updated/resigned in 2018, so information on that might be important to add or refer to in the article.

Option 4

Article title: Prisoner Reentry
Article Evaluation:
  • This article is well organized, but could use a better Lead that better lays out the rest of the article. While a lot of its information is relevant no matter the time period, a lot of the data and statistics are not as up to date and recent as something as ever-changing as the justice system may require. The article does a decent job of laying out different aspects of the needs talk debate and laying out the general players in this specific sector, but is missing a lot of more detailed information that would help it seem complete, such as specific information on juveniles and the currently successful programs in place for juvenile reentry.
