Becky Whisk was born in UK, London, Hounslow town on 10th of October in 1993. At the age of 11, she waited on tables at her family’s cafeteria after school until her father, Mr. Whisk, suspected her of baking secretly when he discovered cookie crumbs in his baking tray. Confronted with the evidence, Becky admitted to her nocturnal activities. Her father then sensibly allowed her the full use of the kitchen. Before long she started drawing compliments for her recipes. By the year 2007, she renounced her American citizenship and migrated to Singapore with her family to set up a bakery company — Whisk & Fold — in year 2009.

Becky’s incredible zest for baking often finds her pulling stunts like working on a recipe at 2am or sleepwalking to the kitchen for a good bake, which always keeps the Whisks awake. Nevertheless, that is how she drives herself to create new recipes and improve on some favourites. Becky was often thought of as a child prodigy but her family feigns ignorance because her mother, Mrs. Whisk, believes that hard work pays off. Whistling while baking is a habit she claims to have inherited from her father, Mr. Whisk. He thinks that the best baking experience is not without whistling.

Becky can sometimes be heard yelling at her brother for hogging the phone lest the Whisks miss their incoming business orders. She believes that sales will improve if Ben spends more time in the washroom than chatting with girls. Becky’s favourite cousin, Jenny Whisk, lives with them ever since they became the best of friends 15 years ago. Jenny is chatty and loves to sing by the window when she is taking a break. Sometimes she gets too loud but the Whisks love her. Together, they make one happy Whisk family. Whisk & Fold baking studio is located in Singapore at 778A North Bridge Road.
