My selected article is 'Giovanni Canavesio'. The current 'Giovanni Canavesio' Wikipedia article contains hardly any relevant and objective information regarding its subject, merely providing the reader with his place of birth - Pinerolo, Piedmont, Italy - and an approximate geographical description of his artistic activity. However, the article fails to offer any conclusive information concerning Canavesio. The fact that the article fails to list any significant citations and sources, apart from the somewhat dubious 'Italian Wikipedia page', epitomizes this neglect for exact historical detail. In conjunction, the article is ultimately simply too brief, and unequivocally fails to profoundly shed light on both Canavesio's artistic career and his personal life.
Thus, I will strive to contribute historical legitimacy to this article through the introduction of a variety of trustworthy and respected secondary academic sources, and to simply find more information regarding Canavesio's life, both vocational and personal, in an attempt to bolster this article that is sorely lacking in raw information concerning its subject.
