Early life
born in Essex, New York

In 1937 (give or take a year), Teall founded the Gourmet Society of New Jersey, "Gourmets to Dine Royally," New York Times May 6, 1973, Page 112. The Society's first president was Dr.Charles Browne (politician), elected in 1939.
After her retirement, she returned to the Adirondacks
