Early life

born in Essex, New York

Her childhood years later became the main subject of her art and writing.

In 1937 (give or take a year), Teall founded the Gourmet Society of New Jersey, "Gourmets to Dine Royally," New York Times May 6, 1973, Page 112. The Society's first president was Dr.Charles Browne (politician), elected in 1939.

After her retirement, she returned to the Adirondacks

The main subject of her writing and painting was the everyday life of her childhood, depicting scenes like syrup making

Her book of stories, Adirondack Tales: A Girl Grows Up in the Adirondacks in the 1880s was published posthumously in 1970 by Adirondack Life magazine.
