In this journal article, Gray proposes that architecture (in particular temple and residential architecture) and its construction is expressive of a society's culture.[1]

Louie describes initially gives a general overview of life in Nepal continues to follow an American architect named Theophile who now works to restore temples in the city of Bhadgaon.[2]

Snellgrove presents a brief history of temples and shrines in Nepal and gives some background regarding religious and cultural representations of these buildings.[3]

The authors detail the ‘House Nepal’ project and discuss the overall aim of this project which is to help restore and construct better, seismic appropriate architecture.[4]

Answers to Module 7 Questions

For this activity I drew something and then scanned it to create a digital copy. I drew a temple in Nepal called the Bhaktapur Temple. This work was based off of an image on the Creative Commons. The file format for my scanned digital copy is a JPEG. I have chosen the Creative Commons CC-BY license. I would describe the file as 'sketch of Bhkatapur Temple'.
