Plot

We are first introduced to the main character of the film, Honda Chiemi. She is shown helping her friend, Nobuaki Kanazawa, do his English homework via telephone call. After Chiemi is done helping him, she goes to bed. But she is awakened by the notifications from her smartphone. An anonymous user that is only named "King" had sent messages to her asking her to play a game called King's Game.

Rules: All students in the class shall participate. After receiving an order from the King, the order must be completed within 24 hours. People who do not complete their order shall be punished. Quitting in the middle of the game is not allowed.

1st Order: Attendance number 28, Mizoguchi Yusuke. Confess your love to the girl you like.

Chiemi ignores the messages and goes back to bed. The next morning, we see Nobuaki at home quickly eating breakfast and leaving the house. That implies that he is late. Then, the next scene shows Chiemi and Nobuaki walking to school together when Nobuaki asks Chiemi about the "King's Game" message, revealing that Chiemi wasn't the only one who the King messaged. The whole class apparently got the message because they repeatedly asked Yusuke who he liked. He finally tells them who it is, a girl in the class named Kamoshita. He asks her out on a date but she rejects as his friends congratulate him for trying. Then, the King sends a message to them, reading, "Execution confirmed."

After school is over, Chiemi, Nobuaki and another boy go to the school balcony as they try to figure out who sent all the messages. Later that night, Chiemi goes upstairs and talks to someone, supposedly her dad. Then, she looks at her phone to see another message from the King.

2nd Order: Attendance number 4, Inoue Hirofumi. Attendance number 19, Nakao Minako. The two will kiss each other.

The next day, at school, Minako and Hirofumi follows the order. Then, the King sends them the same message when Yusuke confessed. "Execution confirmed." Then, at night, we see a girl eating dinner while studying. Then, an order from the King is sent as she checks her phone.

3rd Order: Attendance number 18, Toyoda Hideki will touch the breasts of attendance number 3, Ishii Satomi.

The girl is in disbelief as she is Satomi. We see that she does not want Hideki to touch her breasts.

The next morning, at school, Hideki is with his friends as they gather around waiting for Satomi. Kamoshita, one of Satomi's friends, tells them that Satomi would be absent for the day. He jokingly says that he was training for the moment. Then, his friends chant to "give them back their boobs" The class starts and they go back up to their class.

The class gets a message from the King. This time, it is not another order but it is a punishment for Hideki and Satomi.

Toyoda Hideki and Ishii Satomi did not obey the King's orders. And now their existence will be erased.

Chiemi starts wondering what erased means when the camera zooms in a school photo that she hung up on a bulletin board showing everyone in class. Then, we see Hideki and Satomi disappear from the photo. However, Chiemi doesn't seem to notice that they disappeared from the photo.
