I have been an Alaskan since 1972, with the exception of about three years in
Douglas
.
My working career has centered around wildlife conservation (Hence the user name, "djurliv", a Swedish word which can be translated "wildlife" in English) but since retirement from state service, I have managed a website focused on Alaska outdoor activities.
