Emanuel Boucher

Teenage Athletic Career

Emanuel Boucher is a former Biathlete who competed on Team Canada's u16 Biathlon side for two years in 2019 and 2020. Being born out of Quebec City Canada, and lived throughout Canada and the United States, the young athlete came to the attention of many when he began competing in Track and Field in 2020. Competing for Sacred Heart Catholic High School out of Stittsville, Ottawa, Ontario he blew the competition away at the regional level, wining the 100m dash with a time of 10:45, getting gold in the 200m, 400m and silver in the 4x100m as well as a top five finish in the 1600m run.

From regionals, Boucher went on to compete in OFSAA [1] with a record breaking 9.98 second victory in the 100m and close fought silver for 200m run. Sadly, his track and field presence would not go on as the COVID-19 pandemic canceled that year's nationals and he was never seen on the track again, preferring team sports such as Rugby Union[2] and Canadian Football[3].
