The Simbu Lions (TNA SIMBU Lions for sponsorship reasons) is a defunct Rugby league team. They were a semi-professional Papua New Guinean rugby league team from Chimbu. For much of their existence, they played in Kundiawa ^[1] Chimbu before relocating to Port Moresby. They were refused part of the franchise in 2017. The franchise was owned by Gerard Philip.^[2]

They lost the premiership final in 2015 to Rabaul Gurias.^[3] boo
