In 2012, the company began working with subscription information services like LexisNexis and publishers such Gannett to deliver this high quality video content to their sites.[2]
Since then, the company has developed a number of technology and content offerings to make video simple for publishers and syndication services. The company now curates its offerings and has developed a proprietary workflow to extract metadata from video, enhancing searchability and discovery.[3]
At the start of 2013, The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) CODiE Awards selected NewsLook as the “Best Video Platform for Media & Publishers.”[4]
NewsLook is based in the Times Square neighborhood of New York City and employs nine full-time staff.[5]
