Directories
The Trow City Directory company facility at 49 Ann Street on May 31, 1855, was partially destroyed by fire, reportedly about $50,000 in damaged. The 1855 Trow City Directory had been nearly ready for publication.[2]

On October 23, 1877, Judge David McAdam (1839–1901), in the New York City Marine Court on Chambers Street, appointed Zenas Edgar Newell (1841–1912) as receiver of the property of John F. Trow.[3]
