Greetings.

I've been knocking around these parts for a while now, making the odd edit here and there, using various IP addresses (I never really felt the need to create an account), but I've been persuaded (read bullied) into signing up.

I lecture in English literature, have a PhD in Shakespeare (I'm old enough that when I did my PhD it didn't have to be on a topic so specific that only the student and the supervisor would understand it, or ever show any interest in it. Ever.) and a general interest in pre-19th century drama. Nothing wrong with post-19th century drama, I just prefer the older material!

As I'm starting to feel like I'm writing a profile for a dating site, I'll stop now.
