Fuidee's math

Easy math

Fuidee was excited because she was going to do 2 + 2, which was an easy one. Then the cat came in. Fuidee already knew the answer, so she wanted to give the math problem to the cat. Then Fuidee asked, "What's 2 + 2?" "5," said another cat's voice behind her. Fuidee knew that that was the wrong answer. And then she said, "Nope, try again." And then she asked it again. And the same cat asked, "2 + 2 = blank." "4!" Fuidee said back to him.

Subtraction

Then she thought of a subtraction problem. "What if I had 10 apples, then ate 5?" Narva came by and said, "You would have 5 because 5 + 5 = ... 10." Fuidee knew the answer to 5+5 because she uses doubles a lot. It was easy. Before Fuidee could say "10", Narva said "10". And then Fuidee jumped up and down and said, "Yeah, you got it right too, I was about to say 10." And Narva said, "I knew the answer too."

Subtraction and addition

Then Fuidee was still thinking of that subtraction problem, which was 10 - 5, then she asked it. And Narva, who was standing next to her, said, "I know it's 5. Subtracting is easy." And Fuidee knew another math problem, which was almost as easy as 2 + 2, but it was 1 + 1, which was 2. "And if you make 2 and 2 then you would get 4," thought Fuidee. Then she said it to Narva. And Narva said, "I knew that too."

Doubles plus one

"I think doubles are easy!" thought Fuidee. Narva knew subtraction and even Fuidee knows it too. Then the answer to the next one was going to be an odd number, and it was a double plus one, it was 3 + 4. The answer was an odd number, which was 7. Narva said "7" after Fuidee was going to say "+" because Narva thought Fuidee was going to say "4".

Fuidee looks at something cool

Something very cool.

After a trip to the moon, Fuidee noticed that there was a code that looked like a very funny picture. The background was black and there were different colors everywhere. After Fuidee looked around the space station, Narva was coming and she looked at the code too. It looked very cool. The green stuff looked like letters, the red squares looked like a person itself, and the purple stuff looked like a parenthesis with M in it. And the white stuff looked like bars. Narva said, "That is really cool." Fuidee said, "I think so too." But it began to look more and more like Fuidee's favorite picture in the museum.

And Fuidee left space camp and hurried home and slammed the door on herself because she was mad that the picture kept looking more and more like her favorite one. She noticed something scratching. It was the cat she met while she was figuring out 2 + 2. And Fuidee said, "Oh, you can come in, I'm not mad at you, I'm just mad at the code." Then something was coming under her door. She noticed that it was a heart with a sad face on it, and it said, "Fuidee, do you want to still play with me?" and it had a happy face with it saying, "Fuidee, say yes."

And then she picked it up and opened the door and said, "Well, I'm not mad at you anymore, I'm just mad at the code because it looked more and more like my favorite picture." And Narva said, "Did you get that note that got moved under the door?" Fuidee said, "Yes, I did, and I read it too." Narva said, "I didn't hear you." And Fuidee said, "That's because you were in a different room." And they both knew that code was cool.
