Miss Nicaragua 2022 was the 41st Miss Nicaragua pageant held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Convention Center Managua in Managua, Nicaragua on 6 August, 2022.
At the end of the event, Allison Wassmer of Managua crowned Norma Huembes of Carazo as her successor as Miss Nicaragua 2022. She represented Nicaragua at Miss Universe 2022 and she went on to win the title roughly three months later in New Orleans, United States, on 14 January 2023.
The competition was hosted by Miss Nicaragua 2006 Cristiana Frixione, journalist Carmencita Rosales, and TV Host Keneth Salguero.[1][1][1]

Format
Similarly to the 2022 edition, 5 finalists were chosen based on scores from the closed-door interviews and the finals night swimsuit and evening gown competitions. The top 5 then competed in the question and answer round, and then would be called up from the 4th Runner-up to the 2nd Runner-up. With two delegates remaining, the winner would be announced, and the other delegate would therefore become the 1st Runner-up.
