Omaha, NE] in 1964. Dr. Ellen Hedlund received her Ph.D degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee in 1989 in Education---. She worked for the Rhode Island Department of Education
in the Office of Assessment and Testing from 1991 to ????. Dr Ronald and Dr Ellen Hedlund are the parents of Karen Marie Hedlund (b. 1972) and Dr David P. Hedlund (b. 1975).

Before joining

The University of Rhode Island from 1989-1997. Before that Hedlund served on the faculty and staff at the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee
