This is what failure looks like

We wanted to grow our movement. We failed.
Wikiepdia peaked in active users in 2007. For seven years we have been hemorrhaging editors.

We strived be NOT a BUREAUCRACY. We failed..
We operate a crushing bureaucracy that deters newcomers who might increase participation in Wikipedia and broaden its coverage.

We strived be a place where

anyone can edit. We failed.
Women are still less than 15 percent
, driven away by "the argumentative and trollish atmosphere of Wikipedia".

I honestly think we have lost our way, I really do. I sometimes think we've become Nupedia and we need a new Wikipedia to feed into it. ... I think we've lost sight of what makes the project special, which is the idea that everybody DOES have something to contribute, it's not just a priesthood of a small number of people

Lastly,
WP:CONSENSUS
aren't being respected, I'm not being respected, and I can help Wikipedia no more.
