Is a South African public speaker, politician, author and activist who has served on various youth councils and panels within South Africa and abroad.
Personal Life
Born on November 20th 1992 to a Zambian-born father (Darren Delport), and a South African mother (Melanie Snell-Delport) he is the eldest child, his parents having been married in 1991. His sister, Courtney was born in 1995. After a brief stint living in the United Kingdom, and attending the presitgious, Longsands Academy in Preston, his family returned to South Africa in 2001. On his father's side, he is of direct Irish, British, Belgian and Afrikaner origin, while on his mothers side he is of direct Lithuanian Jewish, Dutch and Afrikaner origin. Delport has been a citizen of Ireland since 2003. He launched his official speaking tour of South Africa in January 2013.
