Jason Vochal Kubicki
Early Life
Jason Kubicki was born in [Jersey City] on June 27th 1984 to the parents Michael and Diane Kubicki. 2 weeks after he was born, doctors found out that his left aortic valve was fused shut. Emergency open heart surgery was the only option and doctors cut the valve in three places to release the tension. This in turn caused complications later in Jason's life.

In 2004 Jason's friend introduced him to a couple guys that wanted to start a hardcore/metal project after their singer left. Jason tried out and took the cut. Right away the band went into the studio and recorded a 6 song demo called, "Dead Legends". Burn the bridge played countless shows with bands such as, Haste the day, Folly (band), My Bitter End Trophy Scars, To Kill the King (band), Knife the Glitter, etc. Burn the Bridge also played at the metal festival called, Infest festival in 2005 at the legendary Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey. Creative differences arose after Infest and Jason had decided to leave the band.
Responding to an add placed at CCM 3 years before got Jason Kubicki in with another group of guys. This time the group was more serious and vowed to make an impact on the scene. Jason came up with the name, "The NonExistent Year" to describe the last couple of years that he felt like he didn't, "exist". After a couple months of practice, they recorded a 3 song studio demo with Chris Badami (Senses Fail, Dillinger Escape Plan, Trophy Scars) entitled, "This is Your Conscience". The band starting going under the name, "TNEY" due to stickers that had been designed by Jason that were sort of a parody off of, "I <3 NY" but instead of the, "NY" it was, "I <3 TNEY". Countless shows and fans later the band had enough material to record a full length. They went back in the studio in 2009 to record this first studio full length entitled, "When Enemies Become Friends and Vice Versa" It was a concept album about friends stabbing you in the back and enemies coming to your aide. It didn't take long before the song, "So what now". got airtime on Poughkeepsie based radio station
Heart surgery and Present
In March 2010, Jason suffered from a blown out left aortic valve. This in turn caused lung, kidney, and liver failure. Having to undergo emergency open heart surgery in the middle of March and holding onto life by just 15 minutes, Jason survived and is now part pig. The blown out aortic valve was replace with a Bovine valve. Currently Jason is in the process of writing a novel, which has yet to have a name. He has been doing spoken words to promote his novel and it should be out by April.
