The Treaty Principles Bill is a proposed bill by ACT New Zealand. It aims to redefine the Principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and then to enrich it into law via a referendum. It was first announced in October 2022 in a press release by then-justice spokesperson Nicole McKee.
