[1]http://lumal.com was started in early 96 and posted a lot of previously unknown databases as html. As such altavista.dec.com spidered it completely and as a result all the major search motors sample all related linkns to it with very high rankings.
Of all the systems that enjoy special treatment in search procedes this is by far the most troublesome. The IT model on which it is based is truely elegant. The editorial workforce and the committee that rules this seems to me to be built on mob rules. Craigslist is run by a dictator who seems to be lead by a moral standard and isn't trieing to cash in. I know the WIKI has a noble ideal. I wonder who's ruling the judges. Beggars can't be choosers but really who is feeding the fire. If the spark is left to flounder perhaps friendster.com getting it's butt kicked by myspace is a good model to look at. This public forum is subjective and in spite of that these editors, judges or nazis wish it is opinion. I tag and render constantly. I promote ideas & companies as entities. I generate interviews and research living individuals as historical testament. If U folks don't want to make this more democratic & perhaps "user friendly" U relegate yourself to a very anal , very narrow POV.
I spent the majority of this nite updating a wide range of items. Once again I test the WIKI herein.
