I've been contributing to Wikipedia since August 2020. I'm a translator and I can help with Catalan, Spanish, Italian and English! Translating is much more than a simple linguistic activity: translation is always an act of ideological mediation. I am particularly concerned about the role of gender in translation (gender stereotypes, feminist retranslation of children’s books, subtitling, etc). In this sense, I've been involved with the audiovisual industry in different roles (audiovisual translation, subtitling, interpreting, etc.).

I'm planning to help the Wikipedia community by working on articles about women in the film industry and beyond (women film critics, feminist film scholars, filmmakers and even film translators, etc.). I'm especially interested in the Women in Red Project! It's the driving force behind my desire to contribute to Wikipedia!! What an awesome and needed initiative! I've joined the project on August 29, 2020
