Howdy there! I am Dante aka MeumInfernum. Here are my contributions. I live in America, but I am French on my mother's side and Cameroonian on my father's side. I am able to speak English, French, and Classical Latin. I enjoy doing research and learning as much as I can about as many topics as I can. Also Dante's Divine Comedy is kind of a cool thing, hence my username.

Areas of Expertise

Ancient stuff

I studied Latin and Ancient Roman/Greek/Egyptian history, culture, and mythology for seven years, my major accomplishments from this topic have been translating De Bello Gallico and the Aeneid and travelling to Rome to study Latin and translate inscriptions from Ancient Roman ruins.

Music

I am a self-taught musician who can play piano, harmonica, bass guitar, and guitar. I have spent a large portion of my time browsing YouTube and Wikipedia to teach myself a great deal about music theory. I am a fan of a wide variety of music genres, everything from Zydeco to Heavy Metal to Hip Hop to Jazz to Classical music to Country, etc.

Philosophy

Through studying ancient history and taking a short philosophy course in school, I have an intermediate knowledge about philosophy, although I would like to learn more about more modern philosophers.

Computer Engineering

Not sure if it qualifies as an area of expertise yet, but I am currently studying computer engineering with a focus on software rather than hardware.
