If 4 admins all agree that a user should be placed on probation, revert parole, or be topic-banned, then the remedy in question is applied to that user if no other admin objects within 48 hours. Similarly, if 4 admins agree that an article should be placed on article probation or article revert parole, then that remedy is applied if no other admin objects within 48 hours. Administrators are to signal their agreement to the remedy by each leaving a note, either on the user talk or the article talk page.

No user may be sitebanned for any length of time by this process. All remedies applied via this process have an maximum length of six months, after which community consensus must be sought as regards any renewal.
