Nancy D. Brown is an American travel writer, blogger and equestrian who has traveled on assignment through multiple countries and continents. She is the blog creator of "What a Trip" and "WritingHorseback."

After graduating from Journalism school and working in public relations she has backpacked through Europe; sailed over Alcatraz in a Zeppelin, rode horseback through Bergen, Norway, hot air ballooned in Albuquerque, New Mexico, floated under the Golden Gate Bridge on a SuperLiner cruise ship and fly fished in Alaska. She has traveled via Amtrak train, lodge hopped in Alaskan float planes, helicoptered in Hawaii, motorcycled in Greece and boarded the wrong bus while visiting Germany’s Neuschwanstein Castle.
