NeoPhyteRep's

user page
consists of notes taken while learning
how to edit a Wikipedia page
.

The page displayed here before the initial edit occurred included a Search for "NeoPhyteRep" in existing pages and Look for pages within Wikipedia that link to this title.

It also included a link that could be used to verify that "NeoPhyteRep" exists, for which I haven't found the syntax to make it work correctly here, yet.

A link to search the deletion log was also provided. This one works, but, surely, I can use a shorter syntax to achieve the same end.

About Wikipedia

I started with About Wikipedia, because it was listed in the left panel submenus and seemed a subject title that made sense as a starting point.

Comments

From reading About Wikipedia, there appear to be a number of articles that cover the same, or nearly the same, topics. I haven't read enough of them to sort out which are better or how to sequence a new person's reading, but reading About Wikipedia allowed me to find many of them. In fact, About Wikipedia seemed somewhat internally redundant.

Recommendation

Read About Wikipedia and form your own opinion.

The five pillars of Wikipedia

Comments

The five pillars of Wikipedia isn't the Code of Hammurabi, but, maybe that's because it establishes a consensus manner of conducting ones self, not an enforceable law.

Recommendation

Read The five pillars of Wikipedia and conform to its standard.
