Papamitrou

Nikolas Papamitrou, better known by his stage name Papamitrou or Nick Papz, is an American

hip hop record producer & songwriter from Upton, Massachusetts. Papamitrou is currently the first signed producer to Meek Mill record label called Dream Chasers[1][2][3]. He is best known for the energy he brings to his instrumentals, his energetic choir melodies, brass, and 808 patterns. He is also known for his records out on Meek Mill latest album called Wins & Losses[4], such as the Intro "Wins & Losses", Connect The Dots (ft. Yo Gotti & Rick Ross), and These Scars (ft. Future & Guordan Banks)[5]
.

Early Life

Papamitrou grew up in a small town called Upton, Massachusetts, being the oldest sibling in the family of six. At the age of twelve, he started to play electric guitar and was into heavy rock music such as Ozzy Osbourne and Metallica. At the age of fifteen, he started revolving himself in the rap scene and started to engineer local rap artists who went to his high school. At the age of sixteen, he started to watch his little brother make beats everyday and then slowly picked it up, falling in love with it.

Musical Career

Papamitrou is in college until 2018, attending

Audio Engineer major. He first started a YouTube producing career making "Meek Mill Type Beats" or any trap artist type beat almost everyday while getting almost 500,000+ views each video[6]. Papamitrou was later linked up with well known producers such as Sap (producer) and Jahlil Beats. He was originally found through Instagram by a fan tagging Meek Mill manager (Coon Philly) in his beat video. Ever since, Papamitrou has been signed to Dream Chasers. Papamitrou became very notable after dropping his beat tapes "Apollo" and "Cuatro" on SoundCloud and MyMixapez, which basically set him off with the help of Meek Mill
promoting him.

In 2017, Papamitrou dropped two major songs on Don Q's project "Corner Stories" named "Don Vito" & "It's All Love" with a feature from Dave East[7][8][9][10]. He then later dropped a song with Meek Mill on the Meekend 2 Tape called, "Young Nigga Dreams" (ft. YFN Lucci & Barcelini)[11][12][13], that ended shaking the streets up. On July 21st, 2017, Meek Mill releases Wins & Losses[14] with three major songs produced by Papamitrou[15]. He produced a hit of an Intro called the albums name, "Wins & Losses", "Connect The Dots" (ft. Yo Gotti & Rick Ross) which ends up hitting the clubs hard, and "These Scars" (ft. Future & Guordan Banks) which touches the soul, but still hits hard.
