Maphlix Trust Ghana Limited

is a leading producer and exporter of fresh vegetables, roots, tubers, and fruits in Ghana. Maphlix sources from its own farms and from a network of smallholder farmers in the Volta Region of Ghana. (1) Maphlix Trust Ghana Limited is the largest vegetable farm in West Africa, according to the Ghanaian Times Newspaper in 2021.(2) Established in 2013, the company's long-term goal is to develop and add value to the remaining food crops that are exported in their raw form. Maphlix Trust Ghana Ltd. has been ranked sixth by the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) at the 2020 Ghana Club 100 awards, hosted by the Centre in Accra, moving up from 27th position in the previous year.(4)


It operated scheduled services. Its main base was

O.R. Tambo International Airport, Johannesburg, with hubs at Vilankulo Airport, Mozambique and at Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport.[1]

History

The airline was established by PWD Farquhar in the late 1990s in association with TTA Mozambique. In 2001 JF Pienaar joined the company (PWD Farquhar (67%) and JF Pienaar (33%)) and had 19 employees (at March 2007).[1]

Pelican Air Services operated services from Johannesburg to

Vilanculos, and onto the Bazaruto Archipelago in association with Mozambique airline, ASAS de Moçambique.[1]
